MEET DR. APRIL RITZ, PT, DPT

Dr. April Ritz is the founder and owner of Effingham Pelvic Health & Wellness and is deeply passionate about helping individuals restore pelvic health and overall well-being. An Effingham native, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Maryville University in 2016 and has since pursued advanced training, earning both her Certification in Pelvic Health Rehabilitation and Certification in Obstetric Physical Therapy for pregnancy and postpartum care.

Dr. Ritz has dedicated her career to pelvic floor rehabilitation, prenatal and postpartum support, and outpatient orthopedics. She loves empowering patients to feel confident in their bodies through every stage of life.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ritz is a wife and proud mom of four. Her family resides in Effingham and are active members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

MEET DR. ASHLEY KOPPLIN, PT, DPT

Dr. Ashley is an Altamont native and thankful to be home serving the local community. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis, where she developed a strong interest in pelvic health through clinical rotations and a graduate independent study focused on pelvic health in physical therapy.

Dr. Ashley is passionate about helping both men and women restore function, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.

MEET DR. KATIE SIEMER SUMMERS, PT, DPT, COMPT

Dr. Katie has been practicing physical therapy since graduating from Bradley University in 2014 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Dr. Katie commits her career to guiding all patients through their rehab and recovery in pelvic health and wellness, musculoskeletal care, chronic pain, and more.  She is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist and is Dry Needling Certified.  Dr. Katie brings to the table an ability to connect with her clients in a trusting relationship that allows for education and training to meet the goals of the clients.  Outside of the clinic, she enjoys being active both indoor and out and spending time with family.
